International Journal of Nursing Practice is a fully refereed journal that publishes original scholarly work that advances the international understanding and development of nursing, both as a profession and as an academic discipline. The Journal focuses on research papers and professional discussion papers that have a sound scientific, theoretical or philosophical base. Preference is given to high-quality papers written in a way that renders them accessible to a wide audience without compromising quality. The primary criteria for acceptance are excellence, relevance and clarity. All articles are peer-reviewed by at least two researchers expert in the field of the submitted paper.

Aims and Scope: International Journal of Nursing Sciences (IJNSS, ISSN: 2352-0132) is the official peer-reviewed research journal of Chinese Nursing Association. This journal aims to promote excellence in nursing and health care through the dissemination of the latest, evidence-based, peer-reviewed clinical information and original research, providing an international platform for exchanging knowledge, research findings and nursing practice experience. This journal covers a wide range of nursing topics such as advancing nursing practice, bio-psychosocial issues related to health, cultural perspectives, lifestyle change as a component of health promotion, chronic illness, including end-of-life care, family care giving. IJNSS publishes 4 issues per year in Mar/Jun/Sep/Dec. IJNSS intended readership includes practicing nurses in all spheres and at all levels who are committed to advancing practice and professional development on the basis of new knowledge and evidence; managers and senior members of the nursing; nurse educators and nursing students etc. IJNSS seeks to enrich insight into clinical need and the implications for nursing intervention and models of service delivery. Contributions are welcomed from other health professions on issues that have a direct impact on nursing practice.

The International Journal of Nursing Studies (IJNS) provides a forum for original research and scholarship about health care delivery, organisation, management, workforce, policy and research methods relevant to nursing, midwifery and other health related professions. The International Journal of Orthopaedic and Trauma Nursing is a peer-reviewed journal that seeks to promote the development and exchange of specialist knowledge within orthopaedic and trauma practice. The journal is devoted to nurses and other health professionals involved in the care of patients with orthopaedic and associated traumatic conditions. Following on from the tradition of the Journal of Orthopaedic Nursing, the journal aims to promote best practice through the dissemination of high quality research findings, debate within practice, exploration of professional issues and the development of health care practice as well as innovative roles.The journal publishes a wide range of papers from primary research and evidence updates to personal reflections on practice, education and management issues. Supporting sections include literature reviews, book reviews and international policy digests and Letters to the Editor and Editorials are encouraged which shed additional perspectives on papers published in the journal and matters affecting orthopaedic and trauma practice.The mission of the journal is to facilitate global networking that results in the sharing of evidence-based practice, the dissemination of ideas and knowledge amongst orthopaedic and trauma nurses alongside other members of the health care team, including the organisations which support such practitioners in developing their knowledge and practice. The International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry was formed in 1991 by the merger of the Journals of the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry and the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry and is published bi-monthly. It has true international scope and aims to promote the highest standard of education, practice and research in paediatric dentistry world-wide. International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry publishes papers on all aspects of paediatric dentistry including: growth and development, behaviour management, prevention, restorative treatment and issue relating to medically compromised children or those with disabilities. This peer-reviewed journal features scientific articles, reviews, case reports, clinical techniques, short communications and abstracts of current paediatric dental research. Analytical studies with a scientific novelty value are preferred to descriptive studies. Case reports illustrating unusual conditions and clinically relevant observations are acceptable but must be of sufficiently high quality to be considered for publication; particularly the illustrative material must be of the highest quality.

The purpose of the International Journal of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology is to concentrate and disseminate information concerning prevention, cure and care of otorhinolaryngological disorders in infants and children due to developmental, degenerative, infectious, neoplastic, traumatic, social, psychiatric and economic causes. The Journal provides a medium for clinical and basic contributions in all of the areas of pediatric otorhinolaryngology. International Journal of Pediatrics is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and clinical studies in all areas of pediatric research.

International Journal of Qualitative Studies on Health and Well-being acknowledges the international and interdisciplinary nature of health-related issues. It intends to provide a meeting-point for studies using rigorous qualitative methodology of significance for issues related to human health and well-being. The aim of the International Journal of Qualitative Studies on Health and Well-being is to support and to shape the emerging field of qualitative studies and to encourage a better understanding of all aspects of human health and well-being. The journal emphasizes empirical research and theory in basic and applied health care, especially with an international focus, but will also welcome local and national contributions. At least one article out of the six to eight in each issue will be reserved for philosophical issues related to qualitative research in the health area.

International Journal of Speech Language Pathology is an international journal which promotes discussion on a broad range of current clinical and theoretical issues. Submissions may include experimental, review and theoretical discussion papers, with studies from either quantitative and/or qualitative frameworks. Articles may relate to any area of child or adult communication or dysphagia, furthering knowledge on issues related to etiology, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, or theoretical frameworks. Articles can be accompanied by supplementary audio and video files that will be uploaded to the journal's website. Special issues on contemporary topics are published at least once a year. A scientific forum is included in many issues, where a topic is debated by invited international experts.

Although sport nutrition represents a distinct field of academic and applied work, it receives input from—and makes contributions to—such fields as nutrition, physiology, biochemistry, psychology, clinical medicine, and the sport and exercise sciences. Since its inception, the International Journal of Sport Nutrition provided a forum for those studying sport nutrition from a variety of perspectives. At the same time, exercise biochemists have been studying the metabolic responses and adaptations to physical activity, creating an overlap between the two areas of study. Recognizing the maturity and interdependence of these two scientific disciplines, the International Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism (IJSNEM) was created. The journal is designed to provide a forum for the publication of both scholarly and applied work relating to the nutritional, biochemical, and molecular aspects of exercise science.IJSNEM publishes original scientific investigations and scholarly reviews offering new insights into sport nutrition and exercise metabolism, as well as articles focusing on the application of the principles of biochemistry, physiology, and nutrition to sport and exercise. Original research with human subjects will be emphasized, although relevant research with experimental animals may be submitted. Case studies that demonstrate systematic, rather than casual, observation made with appropriate instrumentation, and articles with clinical application will be included. The journal will continue to offer editorials, digests of related articles from other fields, research notes, and reviews of books, videos, and other media releases.

International Journal of Urological Nursing is an international peer-reviewed Journal for all nurses, non-specialist and specialist, who care for individuals with urological disorders. It is relevant for nurses working in a variety of settings: inpatient care, outpatient care, ambulatory care, community care, operating departments and specialist clinics. The Journal covers the whole spectrum of urological nursing skills and knowledge. It supports the publication of local issues of relevance to a wider international community to disseminate good practice. International Nursing Review (INR) is a growing, currently quarterly, peer-reviewed journal that focuses on original articles that help to forward the International Council of Nurses' (ICN) mission world-wide by representing nursing, advancing the profession and shaping health policy. INR encourages nurses to describe their work and to document their experience and research, and to submit articles that reflect the ICN values of flexibility, inclusiveness, partnership, achievement and visionary leadership. The diverse international readership of INR is located in more than 125 countries. Authors are encouraged to explore beyond local or national interests to the more general, global application of the principles underlying their work. Regulation of the profession, workplace issues, innovations in practice, patient safety, education, ethics, and the impact of globalisation and technology on nursing and health and social policy are prominent concerns of this journal. ICN will also continue to contribute to the ongoing development of nursing internationally with its regular section on International Perspectives. This journal is a key resource for nurses worldwide.
