Archiv der Pharmazie - Chemistry in Life Sciences is an international journal devoted to research and development in all fields of pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry. Emphasis is put on papers combining synthetic organic chemistry, structural biology, molecular modelling, bioorganic chemistry, natural products chemistry, biochemistry or analytical methods with pharmaceutical or medicinal aspects such as biological activity. The focus of this journal is put on original research papers, but other scientifically valuable contributions (e.g. reviews, minireviews, highlights, symposia contributions, discussions, and essays) are also welcome. Highlights in 2010.
Every paper has its own priorities. Be it rapid publication, strong circulation, society affiliation or the prestige of a high Impact Factor, we help pharmaceutical companies, medcomms agencies and medical writers identify the Informa Healthcare journal that will help them achieve their publication objectives. We actively encourage pre-submission discussions with our team and Informa Healthcare editors to ensure your submission process is as efficient and effective as possible. You are welcome to contact us directly to discuss your upcoming manuscripts. Alternately, if you would like to browse our portfolio of 168 journals, you can do so using the tool below.
Therapeutic uses of a variety of drug carrier systems have significant impact on the treatment and potential cure of many chronic diseases, including cancer, diabetes mellitus, psoriasis, parkinsons, Alzheimer, rheumatoid arthritis, HIV infection, infectious diseases, asthma, and drug addiction. Scientific efforts in these areas are multidisciplinary, involving the physical, biological, medical, pharmaceutical, biological materials, and engineering fields.Articles concerning this field appear in a wide variety of journals. With the vast increase in the number of articles and the tendency to fragment science, it becomes increasingly diffcult to keep abreast of the literature and to sort out and evaluate the importance and reliability of the data, especially when proprietary considerations are involved. Abstracts and noncritical articles often do not provide a sufficiently reliable basis for proper assessment of a given field without the additional perusal of the original literature. This journal bridges this gap by publishing authoritative, objective, comprehensive multidisciplinary critical review papers with emphasis on formulation and delivery systems. Both invited and contributed articles are subject to peer review.
CrystEngComm is the forum for the design and understanding of crystalline materials. It publishes studies on the investigation of molecular behaviour within crystals, control of nucleation and crystal growth, engineering of crystal structures, and construction of crystalline materials with tuneable properties and functions. All papers should involve the use or development of a design or optimisation strategy.
Current Drug Delivery aims to publish peer-reviewed articles, research articles, in-depth reviews/mini-reviews, and drug clinical trials studies in the rapidly developing field of drug delivery. Modern drug research aims to build delivery properties of a drug at the design phase, however in many cases this idea cannot be met and the development of delivery systems becomes as important as the development of the drugs themselves.
Current Nanoscience publishes (a) Authoritative/Mini Reviews, and (b) Original Research and Highlights written by experts covering the most recent advances in nanoscience and nanotechnology. All aspects of the field are represented including nano-structures, nano-bubbles, nano-droplets and nanofluids. Applications of nanoscience in physics, material science, chemistry, synthesis, environmental science, electronics, biomedical nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, medicine and pharmaceuticals are also covered. The journal is essential to all researches involved in nanoscience and its applied and fundamental areas of science, chemistry, physics, material science, engineering and medicine.
Current Pharmaceutical Analysis publishes expert reviews and original research articles on all the most recent advances in pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis. All aspects of the field are represented including drug analysis, analytical methodology and instrumentation. The journal is essential to all involved in pharmaceutical, biochemical and clinical analysis.
Current Pharmaceutical Biotechnology aims to cover all the latest and outstanding developments in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. Each issue of the journal contains a series of timely in-depth reviews, research articles and letters written by leaders in the field covering a range of current topics in both pre-clinical and clinical areas of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. Current Pharmaceutical Biotechnology is an essential journal for academic, clinical, government and pharmaceutical scientists who wish to be kept informed and up-to-date with the latest and most important developments.
Dalton Transactions publishes high-quality original research, theoretical and computational studies that significantly advance the field of inorganic chemistry. Its scope includes organometallic, bioinorganic, medicinal inorganic, materials and nanomaterials, with applications including synthesis, catalysis, energy conversion/storage, electrical devices and medicine and sensors.
Drug Delivery serves the academic and industrial communities with peer reviewed coverage of basic research, development, and application principles of drug delivery and targeting at molecular, cellular, and higher levels. Topics covered include all delivery systems including oral, pulmonary, nasal, parenteral and transdermal, and modes of entry such as controlled release systems; microcapsules, liposomes, vesicles, and macromolecular conjugates; antibody targeting; protein/peptide delivery; DNA, oligonucleotide and siRNA delivery. Papers on drug dosage forms and their optimization will not be considered unless they directly relate to the original drug delivery issues. Published articles present original research and critical reviews.
Drug Delivery Letters publishes letters, original research papers, full-length/mini reviews and guest edited issues in all important aspects of drug delivery, gene delivery, and drug targeting.
The journals’ scope covers all the basic and applied research in drug delivery and targeting at molecular and cellular levels and novel delivery systems. The journal also focuses on all innovative aspects of all pharmaceutical dosage forms and the most advanced research on controlled release, bioavailability and drug absorption, nanomedicines and gene delivery, etc. The manuscript submission process is fully electronic to ensure rapid publication of research results.
The journal provides a unique forum for scientific publication of high-quality research that is exclusively focused on translational aspects of drug delivery. Rationally developed, effective delivery systems can potentially affect clinical outcome in different disease conditions. Research focused on the following areas of translational drug delivery research will be considered for publication in the journal. Designing and developing novel drug delivery systems, with a focus on their application to disease conditions: Preclinical and clinical data related to drug delivery systems: Drug distribution, pharmacokinetics, clearance, with drug delivery systems as compared to traditional dosing to demonstrate beneficial outcomes Short-term and long-term biocompatibility of drug delivery systems, host response: Biomaterials with growth factors for stem-cell differentiation in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering: Image-guided drug therapy, Nanomedicine: Devices for drug delivery and drug/device combination products. In addition to original full-length papers, communications, and reviews, the journal includes editorials, reports of future meetings, research highlights, and announcements pertaining to the activities of the Controlled Release Society.
