Optics Communications considers only original and timely contributions containing new results in various fields of modern optics. Manuscripts may discuss fundamental or applied issues, and should offer clear evidence of novelty and significance. Papers devoted, for the most part, to mathematical and computational issues, with limited direct connection to current trends of optics research, are generally not suitable for publication in the Journal. Similarly, small technical advances, or papers concerned only with engineering applications or issues of materials science may not be considered favourably.The Fast Track section of Optics Communications is the venue for very rapid publication of short communications on significant developments in the various fields of modern optics. Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry (OBC) publishes original and high impact research and reviews in organic chemistry. We welcome research that shows new or significantly improved protocols or methodologies in total synthesis, synthetic methodology or physical and theoretical organic chemistry as well as research that shows a significant advance in the organic chemistry or molecular design aspects of chemical biology, catalysis, supramolecular and macromolecular chemistry, theoretical chemistry, mechanism-oriented physical organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry or natural products. Organometallics is the flagship journal of organometallic chemistry and records progress in one of the most active fields of science, bridging organic and inorganic chemistry. For the purposes of this journal, an "organometallic" compound is defined as one in which there is a bonding interaction between one or more carbon atoms of an organic group or molecule and a main-group, transition, lanthanide, or actinide metal atom (or atoms). Following longstanding tradition, organic derivatives of the metalloids (such as boron, silicon, and the like) are included in this definition. Furthermore, manuscripts dealing with metal-containing compounds that do not have metal–carbon bonds will be considered if there is a close relationship between the subject matter and the principles and practice of organometallic chemistry. The journal publishes fundamental studies and work that pushes toward translational research on the synthesis, structure, bonding, chemical reactivity, and reaction mechanisms for a variety of applications:
