The Econometrics Journal was established in 1998 by the Royal Economic Society with the aim of creating a top international field journal for the publication of econometric research with a standard of intellectual rigour and academic standing similar to those of the pre-existing top field journals in econometrics. The Econometrics Journal is committed to publishing first-class papers in macro-, micro- and financial econometrics. It is a general journal for econometric research open to all areas of econometrics, whether applied, computational, methodological or theoretical contributions. Submissions to The Econometrics Journal receive detailed and informative appraisal. Some papers may be rejected without seeking the advice of referees and the provision of reports but are scrutinised in detail by a member of the editorial board. This practice is only invoked for submissions unlikely to prove publishable in The Econometrics Journal to avoid unnecessarily prolonging the editorial process and taxing the limited resource of referees. The Econometrics Journal is dedicated to achieving an exacting standard for the editorial process, both in terms of usefulness and speed, to promote the submission of high-quality econometric research. The Econometrics Journal provides annual reports concerning the editorial process. The Econometrics Journal provides immediate electronic access to papers accepted for publication circumventing the often long publication delays associated with other paper-based journals. More than three thousand members of the Royal Economic Society and the users of over three thousand are able to view without charge papers published or forthcoming in The Econometrics Journal.
nternational Press of Boston, Inc. is an academic publishing company founded in 1992. After eighteen years of growth, International Press now publishes fifteen journals in various fields of academic mathematics research, including a prestigious journal of statistics. International Press also publishes high-level mathematics and mathematical physics book titles, including monographs, textbooks, and more.International Press enjoys a productive partnership with the American Mathematical Society, with whom we have co-published the AMS/IP Studies in Advanced Mathematics book series since 1997.Having close ties to the Chinese mathematics community, International Press has also developed a close partnership with Higher Education Press of Beijing—the leading Chinese curriculum planner, and publisher and distributor of academic books—as well as with the Chinese publishers Tsinghua University Press, Hunan Science and Technology Press, and others.
The Fibonacci Quarterly, the journal of the Fibonacci Association, provides a focus for worldwide interest in the Fibonacci numbers and related mathematics. In particular, we welcome articles on integer sequences, and relevant topics in Mathematical Biology, a new section added to the journal. In addition to publishing high level research papers, we also encourage mathematical outreach articles on fun and accessible topics, from new proofs and expositions, to interesting connections between diverse topics. We invite contributions from all readers to the problems sections, on topics from high school to advanced undergraduate. The Fibonacci Quarterly seeks to involve researchers, enthusiasts, students and teachers of all ages through exploration and exchange of ideas.
The Journal of Defense Modeling and Simulation: Applications, Methodology, Technology (JDMS) is a journal devoted to advancing the practice, science, and art of modeling and simulation as it relates to the military and defense. Topics include: warfighting, training, test and evaluation, command and control, aerospace, peacekeeping, non-traditional missions, and homeland security, simulation design techniques, and federation construction process, simulation techniques, synthetic natural environment modeling, multi-resolution techniques, and High Level Architecture.
JGA is a high-quality journal devoted to publishing important new results at the interface of analysis, geometry and partial differential equations. Founded in 1990, by its current Editor-in-Chief, Steven G. Krantz, the journal has maintained standards of innovation and excellence. JGA accepts papers in English, French, and German and has a strong international flavor.
The Journal of Mathematical Sociology is published in association with the International Network for Social Network Analysis, the Japanese Association for Mathematical Sociology, the Mathematical Sociology Section of the American Sociological Association, the Methodology Section of the American Sociological Association, and with the generous support of the UCLA Division of Social Sciences . The Journal of Mathematical Sociology publishes articles in all areas of mathematical sociology. The Journal of Mathematical Sociology also welcomes papers of mutual interest to social scientists and other social and behavioral scientists, as well as papers by non-social scientists that may encourage fruitful connections between sociology and other disciplines. Reviews of new or developing areas of mathematics and mathematical modeling that may have significant applications in sociology will also be considered. Because Journal of Mathematical Sociology is addressed primarily to sociologists it is anticipated that most articles will be oriented toward a mathematical understanding of emergent complex social structures rather than to an analysis of individual behavior. These structures include, for example, informal groups, social networks, organizations, and global systems. Papers on sociological and statistical methods are also welcome. Peer Review Policy: All research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based first on screening by the editor and then anonymous refereeing by independent expert referees. Publication office: Taylor & Francis, Inc., 325 Chestnut Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
The Journal of Supercomputing pubishes papers on the technology, architecture and systems, algorithms, languages and programs, performance measures and methods, and applications of all aspects of Supercomputing. Tutorial and survey papers are intended for workers and students in the fields associated with and employing advanced computer systems. The journal also publishes letters to the editor, especially in areas relating to policy, succinct statements of paradoxes, intuitively puzzling results, partial results and real needs.Published theoretical and practical papers are advanced, in-depth treatments describing new developments and new ideas. Each includes an introduction summarizing prior, directly pertinent work that is useful for the reader to understand, in order to appreciate the advances being described.Â
The Lancet Respiratory Medicine launched in March 2013 and is the fourth Lancet specialty journal following in the footsteps of The Lancet Oncology, The Lancet Neurology, and The Lancet Infectious Diseases. The journal offers the same unique fast track experience offered by its sister journals for all authors of research papers that are selected for peer review, where articles can be published online within 8 weeks of submission. The journal publishes a range of article types in respiratory medicine and critical care. These include Original Research, Reviews, Personal Views, Comments, and News articles. Topics include but are not limited to asthma, COPD, tobacco control, critical care, lung cancer, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, sarcoidosis, mesothelioma, sleep medicine, thoracic and reconstructive surgery, tuberculosis, palliative medicine, and respiratory infections.Visit www.thelancet.com/respiratory for more information.
The Mathematical Intelligencer publishes articles about mathematics, about mathematicians, and about the history and culture of mathematics. Written in an engaging, informal style,* our pages inform and entertain a broad audience of mathematicians and the wider intellectual community. We welcome expository articles on all kinds of mathematics, and articles that portray the diversity of mathematical communities and mathematical thought, emergent mathematical communities around the world, new interdisciplinary trends, and relations between mathematics and other areas of culture. Humor is welcome, as are puzzles, poetry, fiction, and art. *Note: The traditional Definition/Theorem/Proof style of research articles is not appropriate here, nor are articles aimed only at specialists.
The Quarterly Journal of Mathematics publishes original contributions to pure mathematics. Areas such as algebra, differential geometry, and global analysis receive particular emphasis. However the journal avoids specialization.
The Quarterly Journal of Mechanics and Applied Mathematicspublishes original research articles on the application of mathematics to the field of mechanics interpreted in its widest sense. In addition to traditional areas. such as fluid and solid mechanics. the editors welcome submissions relating to any modern and emerging areas of applied mathematics.
