Journal of Experimental & Theoretical Artificial Intelligence (JETAI) is advancing scientific research in artificial intelligence (AI) by providing a public forum for the presentation, evaluation and criticism of research results, the discussion of methodological issues, and the communication of positions, preliminary findings and research directions. JETAI features work in all subfields of AI research that adopts a scientific rather than engineering methodology, focusing on work in cognitive science, problem-solving, perception, learning, knowledge representation, memory and neural system modelling. Journal of Family Communication (JFC) publishes original empirical and theoretical papers that advance our understanding of the communication processes within or about families. Advanced doctoral students are invited to participate in JFC's reviewer-in-training program. The reviewer-in-training will serve as the fourth reviewer of a manuscript. He/she will be asked to review approximately three manuscripts in an 18-month period. The editorial decision and reviews are then shared with the novice reviewer, providing the trainee the opportunity to see how his/her review compared to those of others. If the reviews are strong, constructive, and prompt, then the reviewers-in-training will become part of the ad-hoc review pool after the three review, 18-month probationary period.
