Newborn and Infant Nursing Reviews

ISSN: 1527-3369

Newborn and Infant Nursing Reviews provides clinically relevant information that you can use daily. It's coverage goes beyond the scope of traditional NICU nursing, exploring concerns relevant to care outside of the neonatal period and the confines of the hospital. Each quarterly issue addresses a single topic, providing in-depth discussions of diagnosis, treatment, nursing implications/applications, new developments, clinical/evidence-based research, and controversies in the field. You'll also find case studies related to the issue topic.Newborn and Infant Nursing Reviews now includes regular columns that you can count on in every issue. Each column will relate to the issue's subject matter. Look forward to these columns: International Issues, Research Corner, Family, and Pharmacology. Plus, you will now find a crossword puzzle or related activity in every issue.2011 Topics, Volume 11, Issues 1-4MarchSimulation-Based LearningMichele DeGraziaJuneInternational IssuesCarole KennerSeptemberNeuroprotective StrategiesJackie McGrathDecemberHigher-Order MultiplesJudy Lewis

Nonlinear Analysis: Hybrid Systems

ISSN: 1751-570XeISSN: 1878-7460

Nonlinear Analysis: Hybrid Systems welcomes all important research and expository papers in the area of hybrid dynamic systems, i.e., systems involving the interplay between discrete and continuous dynamic behaviors.Computer and embedded reactive control systems which includes discrete switching logic and event-driven interactions with continuous systems are ubiquitous in everyday life. These systems become increasingly complex and difficult to design and to verify while the requirements for dynamics performances and safety are also increasing. The development of systematic methods for efficient and reliable design of hybrid systems is a key issue in control technology and industrial information, and thus it is currently of high interest to control engineers, computer scientists and mathematicians in research institutions as well as in many industrial sectors.Contributions are invited in all areas pertaining to hybrid dynamic systems including: Modeling, modeling languages and specification; Analysis, computability and complexity; Stochastic systems; Impulsive systems; Verification; Abstraction; Optimization; Control synthesis and real-time control; Computation and control over networks; Neural or fuzzy approaches to hybrid systems; Synchronization of oscillators and chaotic systems; Fault diagnosis and dependability; Simulation, implementation and tools.Contributions on applications of hybrid dynamic systems methods are also encouraged. Fields of interest include: process industry, automotive, avionics, communication networks, energy systems, transportation networks, embedded systems, biology and other sciences, manufacturing and robotics.

Nuclear Data Sheets

ISSN: 0090-3752

The Nuclear Data Sheets are current and are published monthly. They are devoted to compilation and evaluations of experimental and theoretical results in Nuclear Physics. The journal is mostly produced from Evaluated Nuclear Structure Data File (ENSDF), a computer file maintained by the US National Nuclear Data Center http://www.nndc.bnl.govNuclear Structure Data: Evaluated nuclear structure data for A>20. (Data for A<21 are also contained in ENSDF but published elsewhere.) The evaluations include the best experimental results for various radioactive decays and nuclear reaction studies. The adopted nuclear properties include the following:• Level schemes and excitation energies• Half-life, decay modes• Spin-parity values and their bases• Magnetic dipole moments• Electric quadrupole moments• Disintegration energies• Radiations• Transition probabilities• Band structureDecay schemes, level schemes, and isobaric chains are displayed.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. Nuclear Engineering and Technology

ISSN: 1738-5733eISSN: 2234-358X

Since its establishment in 1969 with the aim of developing nuclear-related academies and technology, the society has - over the past 40 years - played a significant role in Korea's emergence as the world's 6th nuclear powerhouse. Indeed, as Korea lacks natural resources, nuclear energy has made a great contribution to Korea's economic growth over the last 30 years as an economical source of energy.Compared to other energy sources, nuclear energy is more technology-intensive, so continuous technological exchange and R&D are necessary. Ever since nuclear energy was first introduced, the Korean Nuclear Society has strived to acquire new technology with a passion for academic research. Today, the society consists of 2,700 members, and the academic conferences it holds in spring and fall set the stage for active R&D and collaboration among more than 1,000 participants. Furthermore, the listing of the NET journal in SCIE has allowed the Korean Nuclear Society to step forward as an internationally-recognized organization.
