The International Journal on Interactive Design and Manufacturing (IJIDeM) covers interdisciplinary research, technical issues and/or original industrial implementations related to the development, handling and designing of high-realistic multi-sensorial virtual prototypes for improving decision-making in product design and manufacturing. The scope of IJIDeM includes a variety of techniques such as: describing industrial problems to identify significant knowledge and variables, advanced modelling of design and manufacturing problems, virtually exploring solution spaces, building of high-realistic multi-sensorial simulators, implementing user centred innovative methods. IJIDeM will cover cutting-edge research in the fields of Mechatronics, Design and Manufacturing sciences, Numerical and Mechanical engineering, Virtual Reality aimed at industrial innovation.

Inverse Problems and Imaging includes research articles of the highest quality that employ innovative mathematical and modeling techniques to study inverse and imaging problems arising in engineering all other sciences. Every published paper has a strong mathematical orientation employing methods from such areas as control theory, discrete mathematics, differential geometry, harmonic analysis, functional analysis, integral geometry, mathematical physics, numerical analysis, optimization, partial differential equations, stochastic and statistical methods. The field of applications include medical and other imaging, nondestructive testing, geophysical prospection and remote sensing as well as image analysis and image processing.This journal is committed to recording important new results in its field and will maintain the highest standards of innovation and quality. To be published in this journal, a paper must be correct, novel, nontrivial and of interest to a substantial number of researchers and readers.IPI will have four issues published in 2013 in February, May, August and November.

The Journal of Building Performance Simulation (JBPS) is the official journal of the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA). IBPSA is a non-profit international society of computational building performance simulation researchers, developers, practitioners and users, dedicated to improving the design, construction, operation and maintenance of new and existing buildings worldwide.The JBPS is an international refereed journal, publishing only articles of the highest quality that are original, cutting-edge, well-researched and of significance to the international community. The Journal of Choice Modelling publishes theoretical and applied papers in the field of choice modelling. Papers are expected to either make a methodological contribution to the field, or to present an innovative application. The journal is not limited to one area of study, such as transport or marketing, but invites contributions from across a range of disciplines where the analysis of choice behaviour is a topic of interest. While the majority of papers focus on the use of discrete choice models, contributions looking at other methods are also welcome. Similarly, the Journal of Choice Modelling also welcomes contributions looking at survey design.

The Journal of Computational Electronics brings together research on the full spectrum of modeling and simulation of modern electronics. It addresses optical, electronic, mechanical, and quantum mechanical aspects of the field. Research into the underlying mathematical algorithms and computational details is also highlighted. In addition, the journal examines the related areas of molecular and biological systems in which the thrust is on transport, mechanical, and optical properties. Lastly, the journal draws special attention to the advances and challenges arising from applications in multiscale problems. Specific areas explored include semiconductor devices, optical devices, process simulation, nano-electro-mechanical systems, mathematical approaches, correlated areas, and open quantum systems.

Computational Science is a rapidly growing multi- and interdisciplinary field that uses advanced computing and data analysis to understand and solve complex problems. It has reached a level of predictive capability that now firmly complements the traditional pillars of experimentation and theory.The recent advances in experimental techniques such as detectors, on-line sensor networks and high-resolution imaging techniques, have opened up new windows into physical and biological processes at many levels of detail. The resulting data explosion allows for detailed data driven modeling and simulation.This new discipline in science combines computational thinking, modern computational methods, devices and collateral technologies to address problems far beyond the scope of traditional numerical methods.Computational science typically unifies three distinct elements:• Modeling, Algorithms and Simulations (e.g. numerical and non-numerical, discrete and continuous);• Software developed to solve science (e.g., biological, physical, and social), engineering, medicine, and humanities problems;• Computer and information science that develops and optimizes the advanced system hardware, software, networking, and data management components (e.g. problem solving environments).The Journal of Computational Science aims to be an international platform to exchange novel research results in simulation based science across all scientific disciplines. Journal of Control Science and Engineering is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of control science and engineering.

The Journal publishes original articles in the English language based on the research work of academic institutes in Russia and CIS. The Journal of Forecasting is an international journal that publishes refereed papers on forecasting. The journal, although limited to -metrics aspects, has a broad scope: in principle, all quantitative analysis of original problems in information science are within the scope of JOI. Besides its generality, Journal of Informetrics focusses on papers describing fundamental methods and theories and/or universally important data, gathered in a non-trivial way. Fundamental methods comprise mathematical, probabilistic or statistical models and techniques as well as methods in operational research. These methods can serve the quantitative explanation of certain phenomena, evaluation of information and its producers as well as the management of libraries and other information centres.Journal of Informetrics has a special (though not exclusive) interest in inter- and multi-disciplinary papers, dealing with common aspects of (or possible differences between) several neighbouring disciplines such as quantitative linguistics, econometrics, biometrics and other -metrics fields. The aim is to lower the barriers between these fields, hence avoiding reformulation of similar problems, theories and solutions.
