Chemical Biology & Drug Design is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that is dedicated to the advancement of innovative science, technology and medicine with a focus on the multidisciplinary fields of chemical biology and drug design. Chemical Engineering Communications provides a forum for the publication of manuscripts reporting on results of both basic and applied research. All conventional areas of chemical engineering will be considered as well as topics in semiconductor processing, materials engineering, bioengineering, fluid mechanics, the molecular theory of equilibrium and transport properties, applied mathematics and computer-aided design. Chemical Engineering Communications publishes full-length research articles dealing with completed research projects on subjects such as experimentation (both techniques and data) and new theoretical models. Critical review papers reporting on the current state of the art in topical areas of chemical engineering are also welcome, as well as short communications and letters to the editor which give preliminary announcements of new theoretical concepts, new experimental data, innovative experimental techniques or novel concepts in data correlation. Since the emphasis is on original work in progress, the editors also encourage submission of accounts of tentative results, provided they are well documented. Commentaries on and discussion of previously published work are also considered. The Chemical Engineering Journal focuses upon three aspects of chemical engineering: chemical reaction engineering, environmental chemical engineering, and materials synthesis and processing.The Chemical Engineering Journal is an international research journal and invites contributions of original and novel fundamental research. The journal aims to provide an international forum for the presentation of original fundamental research, interpretative reviews and discussion of new developments in chemical engineering. Papers which describe novel theory and its application to practice are welcome, as are those which illustrate the transfer of techniques from other disciplines. Novel physical and chemical methods of synthesis will be covered, as well as the processes used to obtain materials of different morphologies (particles, films, fibers), and to modify their surface and structural properties, always from a chemical engineering point of view. Chemical Engineering Science publishes papers on the fundamentals of chemical engineering, including the development of chemical engineering knowledge and process into and from other disciplines including biology, chemistry, physics, and applied mathematics. We welcome manuscripts describing original research, with significant results based on experiments and/or developments in theory. Such results may be the outcome of studies that range from the molecular level to the plant level. Increasingly, published research addresses and impacts global issues. Chemical Engineering and Processing: Process Intensification is intended for practicing researchers in industry and academia, working in the field of Process Engineering and related to the subject of Process Intensification.Articles published in the Journal demonstrate how novel discoveries, developments and theories in the field of Process Engineering and in particular Process Intensification may be used for analysis and design of innovative equipment and processing methods with substantially improved sustainability, efficiency and environmental performance.The Journal invites full-length research and succinct current-perspective articles from any branch of chemical engineering, particularly those concerned with themes such as equipment & plant miniaturization, alternative energy conversion & transport mechanisms, intensified hydrodynamics, structured environments, multifunctionality and intensified plant operation. Chemical Papers is devoted to research in pure and applied chemistry and chemical engineering. At its founding in 1947, the journal presented the achievements of Slovak chemical science. Today, it is a peer-reviewed international journal published in English by the Institute of Chemistry of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, with the support of several other academic institutions. Criteria for publication in Chemical Physics are novelty, quality and general interest in experimental and theoretical chemical physics and physical chemistry. Articles are welcome that deal with problems of electronic and structural dynamics, reaction mechanisms, fundamental aspects of catalysis, solar energy conversion and chemical reactions in general, involving atoms, molecules, proteins, clusters, surfaces, interfaces and bulk matter. Reports on new methodologies and comprehensive assessments of existing ones, as well as applications to new types of problems are especially welcome. Experimental papers are expected to be brought into relation with theory, and theoretical papers should be connected to present or future experiments. Manuscripts that apply standard methods to specific physical-chemical problems and/or to specific systems are appropriate if they report novel results for an important problem of high interest and/or if they provide significant new insights.Manuscripts describing routine use or minor extensions or modifications of established and/or published experimental and theoretical methodologies are not appropriate for the journal. In addition, manuscripts describing analytical procedures that use established spectroscopic techniques, such as for sample characterization, will not be accepted for publication, even if they appear new or improved with respect to procedures previously used.In addition to regular research papers, Chemical Physics publishes invited perspectives articles (called ChemPhys Perspectives) and Special Thematic Issues. Each Chemical Physics Special Issue provides a snapshot of the leading edge in current research of a particular field in chemical physics, and contains invited articles by specialists in that field. The objective is to create a collection of articles representative of the newest findings in a field and equivalent to that covered at a topical conference.

Chemical Physics Letters publishes brief reports on molecules, interfaces, condensed phases, nanomaterials and nanostructures, polymers, biomolecular systems, and energy conversion and storage.Criteria for publication are quality, urgency and impact. Further, experimental results reported in the journal have direct relevance for theory, and theoretical developments or non-routine computations relate directly to experiment.
