Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic Commerce

ISSN: 1091-9392eISSN: 1532-7744

The Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic Commerce publishes original research articles concerned with the impacts of computer and communication technology on organizational design, operations, and performance. It serves as a forum for stimulating and disseminating research as to the implications of these technologies for organizational structure and dynamics, the technological advances needed to keep pace with organizational changes, and the emerging technological possibilities for improving organizational performance. The journal's focus is not on computing as it relates to individuals. Theoretical, experimental, and survey research are all appropriate to the Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic Commerce. The journal's major editorial areas are enterprise systems, computer-supported cooperative work, groupware, computer-aided coordination, supply chain technologies, interorganizational systems, collaborative commerce, e-commerce, economics of organizational computing, technologies for organizational learning, and behavioral aspects of organizational computing. The refereeing of papers in each of these areas is directed by the Editor-in-Chief, a Senior Editor, or an Associate Editor. The journal also publishes relevant book reviews, meeting announcements, brief notes, and software reviews. JOCEC is not a computer science journal.Bibliometric study of the actual publishing behaviors exhibited by tenured IS faculty members at leading public research universities in the U.S. reveals: As a group, these senior scholars have published more articles in JOCEC than in any other information systems journal, with only five exceptions (i.e., it ranks 6th among all of the >>100 journals devoted to IS).Among specialty journals devoted to IS, JOCEC ranks 1st on this same criterion. In addition, a larger percentage of these senior scholars have published in JOCEC than in any other information systems journal, with only five exceptions (i.e., again, it ranks 6th among all of the >>100 journals devoted to IS).Among specialty journals devoted to IS, JOCEC ranks 1st on this same criterion. A follow-up study shows that these results for JOCEC are robust, regardless of whether the actual publishing behaviors are those for leading public or private research universities. Journal of Personality Assessment

ISSN: 0022-3891eISSN: 1532-7752

The Journal of Personality Assessment (JPA) primarily publishes articles dealing with the development, evaluation, refinement, and application of personality assessment methods. Desirable articles address empirical, theoretical, instructional, or professional aspects of using psychological tests, interview data, or the applied clinical assessment process. They also advance the measurement, description, or understanding of personality, psychopathology, and human behavior. JPA is broadly concerned with developing and using personality assessment methods in clinical, counseling, forensic, and health psychology settings; with the assessment process in applied clinical practice; with the assessment of people of all ages and cultures; and with both normal and abnormal personality functioning. Manuscripts focused on personality constructs or processes rather than their assessment ordinarily should be submitted elsewhere. We encourage articles addressing under-studied areas. These include (a) systematic reviews or meta-analyses that summarize a body of evidence, (b) the effective integration of nomothetic empirical findings with the idiographic requirements of practice in which the assessor reasons through test and extra-test information to make individualized judgments and provide assessment feedback, and (c) the practical value of the clinical assessment process on the individuals receiving services and/or those who refer them for evaluation. Peer Review Policy: Unless noted otherwise, all articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous review by two referees. Publication office: Taylor & Francis, Inc., 325 Chestnut Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19106.

Journal of Plant Interactions

ISSN: 1742-9145eISSN: 1742-9153
DOAJ Logo

Journal of Plant Interactions aims to represent a common platform for those scientists interested in publishing and reading research articles in the field of plant interactions and will cover most plant interactions with the surrounding environment. Journal of Plant Interactions covers the subject areas of:Plant-Plant InteractionThis area deals with interaction between plants, considering all biochemical, physiological and molecular aspects.Plant-Microorganism InteractionThis area is surely one of the widest and covers three fundamental sub-areas: Plant-Fungi; Plant-Bacteria and Plant-Virus Interactions. Responses to and interactions of plants with micro-organisms are the basics for understanding community dynamics and crop productivity, as well as the key to discovering new resistance genes for pest and disease attacks.Plant-Insect InteractionThe presence of plants after millions of years of herbivore predation is the demonstration that plants have the ability to deter herbivore feeding, but the presence of herbivore after ages of plant toxin biosynthesis is the living evidence that insect herbivores are able to counteract plant poisons. This area deals with all aspects of interaction: from pest attack to plant attraction; from tritrophic interaction to biological control.Plant-Animal InteractionBesides insects, monogastric and polygastric herbivores interact with plants with grazing activity. This area is intended for all studies concerning the effect of grazing on plant population and dynamics.Plant-Environment InteractionThis area is divided into two general sections: 'pen environment'and 'losed environment' The first section covers all aspects of plants'interaction with abiotic stresses present in the natural environments (including atmospheric phenomena, light, temperature, pollution, etc.). The aim of the second section is to collect research reports on artificial environments where plants live (including greenhouses, growth chambers, etc.) both on Earth and in space applications. Remote sensing and biosensing will also be covered under this area.Plant-Soil Interaction (including Plant-Water Interaction)This area deals with nutrition, drought, flooding, restoration, phytoremediation, bioremediation, applied ecology, and all aspects where plants interact with the soil. The Journal will be of significance to all plant biologists, plant physiologists, ecologists, mycologists, microbiologists, agronomists, landscape architects, environmental engineers, entomologists, students and all researchers interested in biological struggle and sustainable use of natural resources.CALL FOR PAPERSAs Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Plant Interactions, Massimo Maffei welcomes submissions from authors. The Journal prefers to publish only those manuscripts that present fundamental advances of wide interest to the plant-interaction biology community. Preference will be given to manuscripts presenting evidence that answers important questions with a high degree of certainty and clarity. Manuscripts that only describe the effect of plant interactions although important and interesting from a phenomenological point of view generally do not meet the standards insisted on by most reviewers without providing a biological meaning and interpretation. Similarly, quality manuscripts that describe a new methodology, but which do not also provide substantial new insight into the biology of plant interactions may not meet reviewers' expectations or the journal's scope. Furthermore, manuscripts that are not accompanied by a sound statistical analysis of data to support results will not be taken into consideration. All submissions will be independently refereed by editorial board members and by external referees chosen on an international basis. All published research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by independent expert referees.Disclaimer for Scientific, Technical and Social Science PublicationsTaylor & Francis make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all the information (the "Content") contained in its publications.
