Materials and Structures, the flagship publication of the International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems and Structures (RILEM), provides a unique international and interdisciplinary forum for new research findings on the performance of construction materials. A leader in cutting-edge research, the journal is dedicated to the publication of high quality papers examining the fundamental properties of building materials, their characterization and processing techniques, modeling, standardization of test methods, and the application of research results in building and civil engineering. Materials and Structures also publishes comprehensive reports prepared by the RILEM’s technical committees.
Aims and scope Mathematical Geosciences (formerly Mathematical Geology) publishes original, high-quality, interdisciplinary papers in geomathematics focusing on quantitative methods and studies of the Earth, its natural resources and the environment. This international publication is the official journal of the IAMG.  Mathematical Geosciences is an essential reference for researchers and practitioners of geomathematics who develop and apply quantitative models to earth science and geo-engineering problems.  Renaming the journal as of January 1, 2008 aims to better reflect the content of the journal and meets the growing multi-disciplinary interests and diversity of our readers and contributors.

This is the official journal of the Mathematical Optimization Society. It publishes original articles dealing with every aspect of mathematical programming: everything of direct or indirect use concerning the problem of optimizing a function of many variables, often subject to a set of constraints. This involves theoretical and computational issues as well as application studies. Mathematical Programming consists of two series: Series A publishes original research articles, expositions and surveys, and reports on computational experimentation and new or innovative practical applications as well as short communications dealing with the above. Each issue of Series B focuses on a single subject, selected to respond to the current interests of the mathematical programming community and has one or more guest-editors, who need not be members of the editorial board. An issue may be a collection of original articles, a single research monograph or a selection of papers from an appropriate conference.
The Mathematics Education Research Journal, an official journal of the Mathematics Education Research Group of Australasia (MERGA), is an international refereed journal that provides a forum for the publication of research in the teaching and learning of mathematics at all levels. The Mathematics Education Research Journal publishes papers of general interest to an international readership, but papers exploring specifically Australasian issues are welcome.
The journal Mechanics of Solids publishes articles in the general areas of dynamics of particles and rigid bodies and the mechanics of deformable solids. At approximately a thousand pages a year, the journal is a comprehensive record of up-to-the-minute research results. Coverage includes Vibration of discrete and continuous systems; Stability and optimization of mechanical systems; Automatic control theory; Dynamics of multiple body systems; Elasticity, viscoelasticity and plasticity; Mechanics of composite materials; Theory of structures and structural stability; Wave propagation and impact of solids; Fracture mechanics; Micromechanics of solids; Mechanics of granular and geological materials; Structure–fluid interaction; Mechanical behavior of materials; Gyroscopes and navigation systems; and Nanomechanics. Articles in the journal are primarily theoretical and analytical in nature and present a satisfying blend of basic mechanics theory with analysis of contemporary technological problems.
Founded in 1963, Medical & Biological Engineering & Computing (MBEC) continues to serve the biomedical engineering community, covering the entire spectrum of biomedical and clinical engineering. The journal presents exciting and vital experimental and theoretical developments in biomedical science and technology, and reports on advances in computer-based methodologies in these multidisciplinary subjects. The journal also incorporates new and evolving technologies including cellular engineering and molecular imaging. MBEC publishes original research articles as well as reviews and technical notes. Its Rapid Communications category focuses on material of immediate value to the readership, while the Controversies section provides a forum to exchange views on selected issues, stimulating a vigorous and informed debate in this exciting and high profile field.MBEC is an official journal of the International Federation of Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE).
