Internal and Emergency Medicine (IEM) is an independent, international, English-language, peer-reviewed journal designed for internists and emergency physicians. IEM publishes a variety of manuscript types including Original investigations, Review articles, Letters to the Editor, Editorials and Commentaries. Occasionally IEM accepts unsolicited Reviews, Commentaries or Editorials. The journal is divided into three sections, i.e., Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Clinical Evidence and Health Technology Assessment, with three separate editorial boards. In the Internal Medicine section, invited Case records and Physical examinations, devoted to underlining the role of a clinical approach in selected clinical cases, are also published. The Emergency Medicine section will include a Morbidity and Mortality Report and an Airway Forum concerning the management of difficult airway problems. International Advances in Economic Research (IAER) was established to promote the dissemination of economic and financial research within the international community. Founded in 1995 by the International Atlantic Economic Society, a need was identified to provide the latest research on today's economic policies and tomorrow's economic and financial conditions. Economists can no longer be concerned with professional developments only in their home country. Research by scholars in one country can easily have implications for other countries, yet often vital results are not shared. Economic restructuring in a shrinking world demands close analysis and careful interpretation. In IAER, authors from around the globe look at these issues, coming together in the cross-fertilization of multinational ideas. The journal provides economists, financial specialists, and scholars in related disciplines with much-needed opportunities to share their insights with worldwide colleagues. Policy-oriented, empirical, and theoretical research papers in all economic and financial areas are welcome, without regard to methodological preferences or school of thought. All manuscripts are submitted to a double-blind, peer review process.In addition to formal publication of full-length articles, IAER provides an opportunity for less formal communication through its Research Notes section. A small point may not be worthy of a full-length, formal paper but is important enough to warrant dissemination to other researchers. Research in progress may be of interest to other scholars in the field. A research approach ending in negative results needs to be shared to save others similar pitfalls. Research Notes has been established to facilitate this form of communication. The section provides a means by which short manuscripts of less than 200 words can quickly appear in IAER. International Applied Mechanics provides up-to-date coverage of studies on solid mechanics, general mechanics, and the mechanics of structural members (shells and plates), with reference to the stress–strain state, stability, dynamics, and wave propagation. Areas of special interest include the mechanics of composites, the mechanics of residual stresses, the mechanics of structures interacting with fluids and gases, etc.Papers published in the journal are also concerned with stability of motion, nonlinear dynamics, and rigid-body mechanics. The journal deals with practical problems commonly encountered by mechanical engineers working in the aerospace, shipbuilding, turbomachinery, and construction industries. International Applied Mechanics is a translation of Prikladnaya Mekhanika. The Russian-language edition is published and copyrighted by the S. P. Timoshenko Institute of Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The translation is published under an agreement with the Ukrainian Authors Agency. The Russian Volume Year is published in English from April.All articles are peer-reviewed.

International Environmental Agreements: Politics, Law and Economics is a peer-reviewed, multi-disciplinary journal that focuses on the theoretical, methodological and practical dimensions of cooperative solutions to international environmental problems. The journal explores both formal legal agreements such as multilateral treaties, and less formal cooperative mechanisms such as ministerial declarations and producer-consumer agreements. The journal's scope encompasses a wide range of environmental and natural resource issues, including biosafety, biodiversity loss, climate change, desertification, forest conservation, ozone depletion, transboundary pollutant flows, and the management of marine and fresh-water resources. The journal provides a forum on the role of political, economic, and legal considerations in the negotiation and implementation of effective governance strategies.

International Journal for Equity in Health is ready to receive manuscripts about influences on and interventions and inequities in health.

The journal is devoted to all aspects of the mobility, reaction chemistry, and behavior of ions in a supporting gaseous atmosphere and in an electrical field. The International Journal for the Semiotics of Law is an independent entity and the leading international journal in legal semiotics The Journal was first published in 1987. The International Journal for the Semiotics of Law welcomes submissions, in English or in French, which include semiotic analyses of the law. Submissions to The International Journal for the Semiotics of Law should ideally critique, apply or otherwise engage with semiotics or related theory and models of analyses, or with rhetoric, history of political and legal discourses, philosophy of language, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, deconstruction and all types of semiotics analyses including visual semiotics. Submissions which reflect on legal philosophy or legal theory in general, hermeneutics, the relation between psychoanalysis and language, the relation between law and literature, as well as the relation between law and aesthetics, will also be considered. The journal has a long standing association with the International Roundtables for the Semiotics of Law (IRSL) and publishes an annual special issue dedicated to the Roundtable.
