The Indian Society for Plant Physiology sets up a platform for scientists and research workers dealing with the physiology of plants so as to facilitate the exchange of ideas and serve as a point of interaction.The journal publishes original research papers in the field of plant physiology and related subjects such as biochemistry, agronomy, soil science, horticulture, genetics, molecular biology and other cognate sciences that form the base of plant physiology.

Indian Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IJPAM) is devoted to publication of selected papers dealing with original research in Pure and Applied Mathematics, Statistics as well as topics in Mathematical Sciences such as Operations Research, Mathematical Economics, Mathematics Biology, and Computer Science. It is published by the Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi. For a paper to be considered for publication it is a precondition that it is not submitted for publication elsewhere and contains results that are new, significant and of interest to wide sections of the mathematical community. Editors may invite papers on special topics of current interest.All papers, whether contributed or invited, will be refereed. The Indian Journal of Surgical Oncology aims to encourage and promote clinical and research activities pertaining to Surgical Oncology. It also aims to bring in the concept of multidisciplinary team approach in management of various cancers.The Journal would publish original article, point of technique, review article, case report, letter to editor, profiles of eminent teachers, surgeons and instititions - a short (up to 500 words) of the Cancer Institutions, departments, and oncologist, who founded new departments.

The primary aim of the Indian Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery is education. The journal aims to dissipate current clinical practices and developments in the area of cardiovascular surgery. This includes information on cardiovascular epidemiology, aeteopathogenesis, clinical manifestation etc. The journal accepts manuscripts from cardiovascular anaesthesia, cardiothoracic and vascular nursing and technology development and new/innovative products. The journal is published quarterly and is dead lined for distribution by 15th March, 15th June, 15th September and 15th December. The journal is mailed to all national and international members, advertisers and reviewers of the manuscripts. Complementary subscriptions are sent to selected libraries. The journal is the official publication of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons which has a membership of over 1000 at present. Description The journal is the official organ of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular-Thoracic Surgeons. It was started in 1982 by Dr. Solomon Victor and ws being published twice a year up to 1996. From 2000 the editorial office moved to Delhi. From 2001 the journal was extended to quarterly and subsequently four issues annually have been printed out at time and regularly without fail. The journal receives manuscripts from members and non-members and cardiovascular surgeons. The manuscripts are peer reviewed by at least two or sometimes three or four reviewers who are on the panel. The manuscript process is now completely online. Funding the journal comes partially from the organization and from revenue generated by subscription and advertisement.

The general objective of Indian Pediatrics is 'To promote the science and practice of Pediatrics.' An important guiding principle has been the simultaneous need to inform, educate and entertain the target audience. The specific key objectives are: To publish original, relevant, well researched peer reviewed articles on issues related to child health. To provide continuing education to support informed clinical decisions and research.To foster responsible and balanced debate on controversial issues that affect child health, including non-clinical areas such as medical education, ethics, law, environment and economics.To achieve the highest level of ethical medical journalism and to produce a publication that is timely, credible and enjoyable to read.

The journal Infection is a peer-reviewed forum for the presentation and discussion of clinically relevant information on infectious diseases for readers and contributors from all over the world. Articles deal with etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases in outpatient and inpatient setting. Public health issues of local, regional and international importance related to infectious diseases are covered along with progress and problems in hospital epidemiology. The main contents include original articles describing results of research projects; brief reports on new observations that enhance the knowledge of clinicians; and state-of-the-art reviews on topics relevant to physicians diagnosing or treating infectious diseases. Case reports describing new infectious etiologies or clinical manifestations are also offered. Infection adheres to a high standard of quality of all published material.

Infectious Agents and Cancer is ready to receive manuscripts on all aspects of the pathogenic mechanisms of chronic infections and progression to oncogenesis.

Infectious Diseases and Therapy is an open access, internationally peer-reviewed, rapid publication journal (peer review in 2 weeks, published 3-4 weeks from acceptance). Emphasis is placed on high quality pre-clinical, clinical (phases 1-4), and real world research around the discovery,  development, and use of infectious disease therapies. The journal also encourages diagnostic,  pharmacoeconomic, public health, educational, and quality of life studies as well as research around the prevention and management of infectious disease. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to, chronic infections, vaccines, drug-resistant pathogens, microbiology, epidemiology, and tropical, emergent, and sexually-transmitted diseases.The journal is of interest to a broad audience of pharmaceutical and healthcare professionals and publishes original research papers, drug reviews, case reports, and short communications. Infectious Diseases of Poverty is an open access, peer-reviewed journal publishing topic areas and methods that address essential public health questions relating to infectious diseases of poverty. These include various aspects of the biology of pathogens and vectors, diagnosis and detection, treatment and case management, epidemiology and modeling, zoonotic hosts and animal reservoirs, control strategies and implementation, new technologies and application. Transdisciplinary or multisectoral effects on health systems, ecohealth, environmental management, and innovative technology are also considered.

Inflammation presents the latest international advances in experimental and clinical research on the physiology, biochemistry, cell biology, and pharmacology of inflammation. Published items include full-length scientific reports, short definitive articles, and papers from meetings and symposia proceedings. The journal's coverage extends to acute and chronic inflammation; mediators of inflammation; mechanisms of tissue injury and cytotoxicity; pharmacology of inflammation; and clinical studies of inflammation and its modification.

Inflammation Research (IR) publishes peer-reviewed papers on all aspects of inflammation and related fields including histopathology, immunological mechanisms, gene expression, mediators, experimental models, clinical investigations and the effect of drugs. Related fields are broadly defined and include for instance, allergy and asthma, shock, pain, joint damage, skin disease as well as clinical trials of relevant drugs.

Inflammopharmacology is the official publication of the Gastrointestinal Section of the International Union of Pharmacology (IUPHAR) and the Hungarian Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology Society (HECPS).Inflammopharmacology publishes papers on all aspects of inflammation and its pharmacological control emphasizing comparisons of (a) different inflammatory states, and (b) the actions, therapeutic efficacy and safety of drugs employed in the treatment of inflammatory conditions. The comparative aspects of the types of inflammatory conditions include gastrointestinal disease (e.g. ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease), parasitic diseases, toxicological manifestations of the effects of drugs and environmental agents, and arthritic conditions. The journal has five main interest areas: Drug-Disease Interactions - Conditional Pharmacology - i.e. where the condition (disease or stress state) influences the therapeutic response and side (adverse) effects from anti-inflammatory drugs.
