Leisure / Loisir strives to publish a diverse collection of scholarly papers in all areas of leisure, recreation, arts, parks, sport, and travel and tourism. Reflecting the multi- and interdisciplinary nature of these areas of study, the journal invites papers that use a wide range of perspectives and research methods. Submissions may include, but are not limited to: empirical research papers (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods), conceptual papers, comprehensive review papers, policy and economic impact analyses, and pedagogical aspects for leisure educators. Commentary, rejoinders, and other critical papers also are welcome. Leisure is a global phenomenon, and therefore, the journal embraces international perspectives. Leisure / Loisir is the official publication of the Canadian Association for Leisure Studies/Association canadienne d'etudes en loisir (CALS). While Leisure / Loisir is based in Canada and offers a primary outlet for individuals affiliated with Canadian institutions, the journal encourages international submissions. All manuscripts submitted to Leisure / Loisir undergo double-blind, peer review by an Associate Editor and two reviewers. Book reviews are typically invited, but unsolicited book reviews are considered as well. As a Canadian journal, both English and French manuscript submissions are encouraged. Letters in Spatial and Resource Sciences (LSRS) publishes high-quality, shorter papers on new theoretical or empirical results, models and methods in social sciences that contain a spatial dimension. It especially solicits manuscripts from regional science, regional and urban economics, geography, environmental and resource economics, demography, agricultural economics, GIS and spatial econometrics and planning. Examples of suitable contributions would be new formal derivations of theoretical or methodological results, new empirical findings, replications of empirical studies using new methodological approaches, short communications on new algorithms, evaluations of spatial econometric methods and meta-analyses. As a Letters Journal, it consists of concise communications (under 10 pages in length) that provide a means of rapid and efficient dissemination. It allows readers to determine their potential interest in a letter and to digest a large amount of information rapidly. Papers exceeding 10 pages in length will be considered for publication only if, in the opinion of an Editor-in-Chief, the additional length is justified by the nature of the question being studied and/or the quality of the analysis that is undertaken. LSRS also intends to contribute to the dissemination of theories and methodologies across disciplinary borders. The only letters journal in its field, LSRS is a valuable addition to the specialists literature in offering quick dissemination and easy accessibility of new results. Local Environment: The International Journal of Justice and Sustainability is a refereed journal which focuses on local environmental, justice and sustainability policy, politics and action. The majority of users of LRP come from the academic world, and the journal serves two functions in that world: the transmission of research findings among academic researchers, and the transmission of ideas that are useful in the classroom. Articles may be written for practicing managers and students in professional programs, or they may be directed primarily to academic researchers. LRP takes an inclusive approach to empirical research, publishing studies based on primary survey data, archival data, case study and other recognized approaches to data collection.

LRP welcomes work from scholars based in all parts of the world, including emerging and transitional economies. All work must meet a high standard and is assessed for originality and quality through a rigorous peer review process. The areas of work published by LRP include, among others: corporate strategy and governance, business strategy and new business models, international dimensions of strategy, strategies for emerging markets, entrepreneurship, innovation, organizational structure and design, corporate social responsibility, management of technology, methods for strategy research, and business processes. In addition to publication of high quality individual articles, LRP also publishes topically-themed special issues.

This journal is devoted to publishing creative and scholarly economic analyses of a range of issues related to natural resource use in the global marine environment. The journal welcomes conceptual and empirical investigations aimed at addressing real world policy problems, including studies of fisheries, aquaculture, seafood marketing and trade, marine mammals, recreation, pollution, oil and gas, coastal land use, estuaries and watersheds.

Thirty years ago maritime management decisions were taken on the basis of experience and hunch. Today, the experience is augmented by expert analysis and informed by research findings. Mediterranean Politics is the only refereed academic journal to focus on the politics, international relations and political economy of the entire Mediterranean area - 'Mediterranean' here being understood to refer to all those countries whose borders are defined partially or wholly by the Mediterranean Sea. This focus involves consideration not only of the region itself, but also the significance of developments there for other parts of the world. The journal analyses the central issues that concern Mediterranean countries and assesses both local and international responses to them. While its prime concern is with political developments, the focus of Mediterranean Politics extends to all the factors and dimensions affecting political life. These include social movements and issues, regional and domestic conflicts, the political economy of the Mediterranean, migration, political reform processes and issues of cultural identity. The journal does not accept articles on historical subjects that lack direct contemporary linkage, or general economics articles with a Mediterranean context. Since its inception, the journal has given extensive attention to the expanding relationships between Europe and its southern neighbours, including the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, European Neighbourhood Policy and Union for the Mediterranean. Equally, we welcome contributions on interactions between the Mediterranean and other parts of the world. The articles are based on original research, some focused on individual states, others on relationships between them, the role of multilateral organizations in the area or issues that are relevant to the area or sub-areas as a whole or to several countries studied comparatively. Besides research articles, the journal publishes a regular Profile section devoted to briefer analysis of recent events or developments, and a substantial book review section, usually containing a review article. Since its launch in 1964 Middle Eastern Studies has become required reading for all those with a serious concern in understanding the modern Middle East. Migration Studies is an international refereed, online only journal dedicated to advancing scholarly understanding of the determinants, processes and outcomes of human migration in all its manifestations. It furthers this aim by publishing original scholarship from around the world. 

Migration shapes human society and inspires ground-breaking research efforts across many different academic disciplines and policy areas. Migration Studies contributes to the consolidation of this field of scholarship, developing the core concepts that link different disciplinary perspectives on migration. To this end, the journal welcomes full-length articles, research notes, and reviews of books, films and other media from those working across the social sciences in all parts of the world. Priority is given to methodological, comparative and theoretical advances. The journal also publishes occasional special issues.

Mobilities publishes original, theoretically-informed research which is international in scope as well as in authorship. The journal seeks to address topical issues and foster scholarly debate. All submissions will be subject to anonymous peer review by up to three referees.
