The interdisciplinary European Journal of Ageing: Social, Behavioural and Health Perspectives (EJA) is devoted to the understanding of ageing around the world. Coverage includes original articles on the social, behavioral and health-related aspects of ageing, encouraging an integrated approach among these aspects. The editors emphasize empirical research, including meta-analyses, but also consider conceptual papers, including narrative reviews, and methodological contributions. By stimulating communication between researchers and those using research findings, EJA aims to contribute to the formulation of better policies and the development of better practice in serving older adults.
The European Journal of Cancer Care aims to encourage comprehensive, multiprofessional cancer care across Europe and internationally. European Journal of Clinical Nutrition (EJCN) is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing articles related to human and clinical nutrition. The scope of the journal includes publishing Original Articles, Invited Reviews, Systematic Reviews, Clinical Trials papers and Short Communications based on clinical, metabolic and epidemiological studies that describe methodologies, mechanisms, associations and benefits of nutritional interventions for clinical disease and health promotion. Editorials, Letters to the Editor, Response to Letter and Commentaries also feature in EJCN. EJCN also publishes Supplements to the main journal which feature papers from important international expert consultations and proceedings of relevant meetings and conferences.EJCN aims to cover all aspects of human and clinical nutrition: Clinical and whole body metabolic investigations; Epidemiological, social and behavioural studies in nutrition; Nutritional determinants of growth, development and health; Assessment and measurement of nutritional status and indicators, and their relation to function and health; Nutritional causes and effects of disease; Nutritional interventions in clinical practice and in population settings; Community nutrition and education; and Nutrition, population health and health promotion. Manuscripts based on animal nutrition and in vitro studies will not be considered for publication.
The European Journal of Nutrition publishes original papers, reviews, and short communications in the nutritional sciences. The manuscripts submitted to the European Journal of Nutrition should have their major focus on the impact of nutrients and non-nutrients on immunology and inflammation, gene expression, metabolism, chronic diseases, or carcinogenesis, or a major focus on epidemiology, including intervention studies with healthy subjects and with patients, food safety, or biofunctionality of food and food components. Papers with a major focus on traditional medicine or food technology will not be accepted. Nor will case studies be accepted. Letters to the editors may be submitted. Letters are expected to provide substantive comments on papers published in the EJN. Both the letter and a reply, if appropriate, are published together whenever possible.
