The mission of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Journal is to promote the development of new knowledge related to psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery of persons with serious mental illnesses.The journal publishes peer reviewed articles and reports describing innovative programs and practice in rehabilitation and recovery and is intended for those readers with a professional and personal interest in the field of psychiatric rehabilitation.The journal encourages submissions related to feasibility testing and preliminary studies such as interventions and manual development, testing of measures and preliminary testing of interventions that can meet the challenge of developing evidence-based practices in psychiatric rehabilitation. We encourage potential authors to submit articles about measurement of constructs of importance to the field of psychiatric rehabilitation and studies examining the effectiveness of services and interventions which use quasi-experimental and experimental designs.

Rehabilitation Counseling Bulletin (RCB) features articles important to rehabilitation counseling practitioners in counseling, education, or research settings. The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) recognizes that rehabilitation nurses go above and beyond in caring for their patients every day. Our membership includes more than 5,600 professional nurses who together form a community singularly devoted to advancing and promoting rehabilitation nursing in a variety of practice settings, including nursing schools, acute care hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation units/hospitals, long term care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and home health agencies. Rehabilitation Psychology® is a quarterly peer-reviewed journal that is dedicated to the advancement of the science and practice of rehabilitation psychology.Rehabilitation Psychology is the official journal of APA's Division 22 (Rehabilitation Psychology). It is dedicated to the service of the Division and the broader fields of psychology and rehabilitation.Rehabilitation psychologists consider the entire network of biological, psychological, social, environmental, and political factors that affect the functioning of persons with disabilities or chronic illness. Given the breadth of rehabilitation psychology, the journal's scope is broadly defined.Suitable submissions include papers describing experimental investigations survey research evaluations of specific interventions outcome studies historical perspectives relevant public policy issues conceptual/theoretical formulations with implications for clinical practice reviews of empirical research detailed case studies professional issuesPapers will be evaluated for their importance to the field, scientific rigor, novelty, suitability for the journal, and clarity of writing. The primary determinant of editorial decisions is whether the paper enlarges both the understanding of important psychological problems in rehabilitation and the capacity to offer effective assistance in ameliorating those problems.

Research and Practice in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities’s ( RAPIDD's) purpose is to disseminate research, encourage its translation and relevance to practice and policy, and generate informed debate on contemporary issues that matter to the quality of life of people with intellectual disability and their families.  Research and Practice in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities will inform the design and delivery of support that is important for people with intellectual disability and their families to facilitate social inclusion and engagement. Its focus is also the practices and structural adjustments necessary to enable mainstream services and communities to be inclusive and respond appropriately to people with intellectual disability.

Research and Practice in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities will provide a forum to identify pressing research questions, practice and policy issues.  The Australian context and the pursuit of a more inclusive society for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are the core focus of the journal. Also of interest are comparative perspectives that explore similarities and differences with other contexts and groups of people with disability. The journal publishes original research, concise reviews of contemporary research or literature, critical or descriptive analysis of policy and programs, evaluative case studies illustrating application of research to practice, as well as conceptual papers that bring new ideas or theoretical perspectives to the field of intellectual and developmental disability.

The journal will establish a means of constructive dialogue between the different perspectives of managers, practitioners, academics, families, people with intellectual disability, advocates, funders and policy makers. It will provide space to consider interfaces and respective roles of communities, families and service systems, both disability and mainstream.  The content will be characterised by the quality, rigour and clarity inherent in a peer reviewed publication and be relevant and accessible to its intended audience of people with disabilities, families, service providers, academics and policy makers. The contents of  Research and Practice in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities are a combination of papers commissioned by editors and those submitted through an open process by anyone with an interest in the field. All papers are peer reviewed before publication and will not exceed 4000 words. 

Research In Developmental Disabilities is aimed at publishing original research of an interdisciplinary nature that has a direct bearing on the remediation of problems associated with developmental disabilities. Manuscripts will be solicited throughout the world. Articles will be primarily empirical studies, although an occasional position paper or review will be accepted. The aim of the journal will be to publish articles on all aspects of research with the developmentally disabled, with any methodologically sound approach being acceptable. A list of topics areas that is illustrative but not inclusive is applied behavior analysis, pharmacotherapy, traditional assessment, behavioral assessment, speech training and occupational therapy. La Revista de Logopedia, Foniatría y Audiología (Speech and Language Therapy and Audiology) is the official journal of the Spanish Association of Speech and Language Therapy and Audiology (Asociación Española de Logopedia, Foniatría y Audiología (AELFA). The Scandinavian Journal of Occupational Therapy is now in its 17th successful year of publication. It is a channel for occupational therapy research in the Nordic countries and in the rest of the world. Scandinavian Journal of Occupational Therapy aims to provide a forum for research results in the field of occupational therapy. Both quantitative and qualitative original research reports are welcomed, as well as short communications (short, interesting reports on clinical cases) and Letters to the Editor.

The mission of Seminars in Speech and Language (SSL) is to improve speech language pathology services by helping professionals and pre-professionals in their career development and lifelong learning. Topics can include: theoretical questions or issues, diagnostic procedures, screening and assessment techniques, treatment protocols, intervention studies, service delivery, management practices, scholarship on teaching and learning. These can be across any area within the scope of practice for speech-language pathology.

Sexuality and Disabililty is an international forum for the publication of peer-reviewed original interdisciplinary scholarly papers that address the psychological and medical aspects of sexuality in relation to rehabilitation. Publishing timely research articles, review articles, case studies, clinical practice reports, brief research reports, survey data reports, and book and film reviews, the journal offers the latest developments in the area of sexuality as it relates to a wide range of disabilities and conditions.
