The Journal of Microbiology, Immunology and Infection is currently an official bi-monthly publication of the Taiwan Society of Microbiology, the Chinese Society of Immunology, the Infectious Diseases Society of Taiwan and the Taiwan Societyof Parasitology. The Journal is committed to disseminate high quality research related to latest trends and advanced in microbiology, immunology, and infectious diseases. Manuscript categories included original articles, review articles, case reports, brief communications, and research notes.
The aim of APMIS is to publish original research in the fields of pathology, microbiology and immunology, and from related developing areas of modern biomedicine. APMIS has subscribers worldwide.
Journal of Water and Health is a peer-reviewed Open Access journal devoted to the dissemination of information on the health implications and control of waterborne microorganisms and chemical substances in the broadest sense for developing and developed countries worldwide. This includes microbial toxins, chemical quality and the aesthetic qualities of water.
Medical Microbiology and Immunology covers all aspects of the interrelationship between infectious agents and their hosts. Among the major topics covered are microbial and viral pathogenesis and the immunological host response to infections. The journal also publishes information from other fields of microbiology, including mycology and parasitology.
The journal publishes original contributions from research scientists throughout the world, in the fields of parasitology, microbiology, tropical medicine as well as basic studies in immunology molecular and cell biology related to these fields
The powerful emergence and global spread of antibiotic resistant microbial pathogens and resistance genes in the 1990s presents challenges to a wide range of disciplines - from the molecular biology of resistance mechanisms, virulence genes, and disease through molecular epidemiology all the way to drug design, infection control, and medical practice. This international journal provides a multidisciplinary forum for peer-reviewed original publications as well as topical reviews and special reports.
Microbial Ecology in Health and Disease is no longer published by Informa Healthcare. Volumes 1 through 21 are hosted under the All Issues tab.
The journal Microbial Risk Analysis accepts articles dealing with the study of risk analysis applied to microbial hazards. Manuscripts should at least cover any of the components of risk assessment (risk characterization, exposure assessment, etc.), risk management and/or risk communication in any microbiology field (clinical, environmental, food, veterinary, etc.). This journal also accepts article dealing with predictive microbiology, quantitative microbial ecology, mathematical modeling, risk studies applied to microbial ecology, quantitative microbiology for epidemiological studies, statistical methods applied to microbiology, and laws and regulatory policies aimed at lessening the risk of microbial hazards. Work focusing on risk studies of viruses, parasites, microbial toxins, antimicrobial resistant organisms, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), and recombinant DNA products are also acceptable.
Microbiology Spectrum® (Spectrum) is an online-only, fully open-access journal that publishes research from all domains of basic, applied, and clinical microbial sciences. Rather than making subjective evaluations of potential impact, Microbiology Spectrum publishes research studies that are of high technical quality and are useful to the community. All decisions are made by an international and diverse editorial board that fully represents the microbiology research community. The journal provides authors with fair, rapid, and rigorous peer review. The journal offers rapid publication and wide dissemination of excellent research at no cost to readers.
The central purpose of Microbiome is to unite investigators conducting microbiome research in environmental, agricultural, and biomedical arenas.Topics broadly addressing the study of microbial communities, such as, microbial surveys, bioinformatics, meta-omics approaches and community/host interaction modeling will be considered for publication. Through this collection of literature Microbiome hopes to integrate researchers with common scientific objectives across a broad cross-section of sub-disciplines within microbial ecology.
molecular oral microbiology publishes high quality research papers and reviews on fundamental or applied molecular studies of microorganisms of the oral cavity and respiratory tract, host-microbe interactions, cellular microbiology, molecular ecology, and immunological studies of oral and respiratory tract infections.Papers describing work in virology, or in immunology unrelated to microbial colonization or infection, will not be acceptable.
We are interested in the best research from across the field of microbiology, with our broad scope ensuring that the work published reaches the widest possible audience.
