The Journal of Clinical Ultrasound (JCU) is an international journal dedicated to the worldwide dissemination of scientific information on diagnostic and therapeutic applications of medical sonography. The scope of the journal includes--but is not limited to--the following areas: sonography of the gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary tract, vascular system, nervous system, head and neck, chest, breast, musculoskeletal system, and other superficial structures; Doppler applications; obstetric and pediatric applications; and interventional sonography. Studies comparing sonography with other imaging modalities are encouraged, as are studies evaluating the economic impact of sonography. Also within the journal's scope are innovations and improvements in instrumentation and examination techniques and the use of contrast agents. JCU publishes original research articles, case reports, pictorial essays, technical notes, and letters to the editor. The journal is also dedicated to being an educational resource for its readers, through the publication of review articles and various scientific contributions from members of the editorial board and other world-renowned experts in sonography.

Journal of Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology ( JCEN) publishes research on the neuropsychological consequences of brain disease, disorders, and dysfunction, and aims to promote the integration of theories, methods, and research findings in clinical and experimental neuropsychology. The primary emphasis of JCEN is to publish original empirical research pertaining to brain-behavior relationships and neuropsychological manifestations of brain disease. Theoretical and methodological papers, critical reviews of content areas, and theoretically-relevant case studies are also welcome.

Emphases of interest include: the impact of injury or disease on neuropsychological functioning; validity studies of psychometric and other procedures used in neuropsychological assessment of persons with known or suspected brain damage; empirical evaluation of behavioral, cognitive and pharmacological approaches to treatment/intervention; psychosocial correlates of neuropsychological dysfunction; and theoretical formulation and model development. Throughout the world, neuropsychologists, neuropsychiatrists, clinical psychologists, neurologists, cognitive scientists and neuroscientists use this journal to access cutting edge research and theory on the neuropsychological consequences of brain disease and disorders.

Peer Review: All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, are assigned for peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is single blind. Submission is online via ScholarOne Manuscripts.

Finally, their interests encompass typical as well as atypical development, and we attempt to characterize both biological and cultural influences on cognitive change and continuity. It publishes the very best articles on all aspects of cognitive development. The Journal of College Student Psychotherapy is dedicated to exploring significant issues in the field of college student mental health. While contributions to the journal may come from college staff, faculty, or students or from professionals in other settings, the emphasis is on articles by and for college mental health professionals. For an article to be considered for publication, it must be directly relevant to the clinical specialty of college psychotherapy or counseling. The three main article categories are 1) Professional Issues and Practice, 2) Research and 3) Brief Reports. In addition, the Journal may feature 8220;Forum8221; discussions of selected topics, comments on key articles, letters to the editor and book reviews. The Journal is published quarterly, and is affiliated with the Association of University and College Counseling Center Directors. While unsolicited manuscripts will be reviewed, potential contributors are strongly encouraged to contact the editors beforehand to discuss their ideas' suitability and direction. All manuscripts must be well organized and clearly written. Literature reviews should be no longer than absolutely necessary to justify an article's importance and place it in context. The Journal of Community Genetics is an international forum for research in the ever-expanding field of community genetics, the art and science of applying medical genetics to human communities for the benefit of their individuals. Community genetics comprises all activities which identify persons at increased genetic risk and has an interest in assessing this risk, in order to enable those at risk to make informed decisions. Community genetics services thus encompass such activities as genetic screening, registration of genetic conditions in the population, routine preconceptional and prenatal genetic consultations, public education on genetic issues, and public debate on related ethical issues. The Journal of Community Genetics has a multidisciplinary scope. It covers medical genetics, epidemiology, genetics in primary care, public health aspects of genetics, and ethical, legal, social and economic issues. Its intention is to serve as a forum for community genetics worldwide, with a focus on low- and middle-income countries. The journal features original research papers, reviews, short communications, case and country reports, commentaries, news, and correspondence. Case reports describe illustrative projects in the field of community genetics, e.g., design and progress of an educational program or the protocol and achievement of a genebank. Case reports describing individual patients are not accepted.
