The Irish Journal of Medical Science is the official organ of the Royal Academy of Medicine in Ireland. Established in 1832, this quarterly journal is a contribution to medical science and an ideal forum for the younger medical/scientific professional to enter world literature and an ideal launching platform now, as in the past, for many a young research worker.

The primary role of both the Academy and IJMS is that of providing a forum for the exchange of scientific information and to promote academic discussion, so essential to scientific progress.

The journal covers all branches of medicine and publishes papers applicable to the daily practice of the clinician and surgeon. Articles are written by international specialists in their respective fields, and their applicability is not limited to daily practice in Ireland.

Irish Journal of Occupational Therapy is the official peer reviewed journal of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland. IJOT publishes quality articles, on a biannual basis, that further debate and evidence-based practice within occupational therapy, both in Ireland and worldwide.

Irish Studies Review is an indispensable resource for all those engaged in Irish studies and related disciplines. Founded in 1992, it has become an important forum for the scholarly development of knowledge, understanding and appreciation of Irish studies and culture throughout the world. Islets is the first international, peer-reviewed research journal that will publish manuscripts on all aspects of clinical and experimental research into the physiology and pathology of the Islets of Langerhans and related topics. We are interested in manuscripts that report new information or insights into any aspects of these micro organs.Every year nearly 2000 papers that directly (or indirectly) examine the Islets of Langerhans are published in over 50 different journals. It is now the time to create a forum dedicated to the critical understanding of the Islets of Langerhans. Isokinetics and Exercise Science (IES) is an international journal devoted to the study of theoretical and applied aspects of human muscle performance. Since isokinetic dynamometry constitutes the major tool in this area, the journal takes a particular interest in exploring the considerable potential of this technology.Isokinetics and Exercise Science publishes studies associated with the methodology of muscle performance especially with respect to the issues of reproducibility and validity of testing, description of normal and pathological mechanical parameters which are derivable from muscle testing, applications in basic research topics such as motor learning paradigms and electromyography. The Italian Journal of Anatomy and Embryology was founded in 1901 by Giulio Chiarugi, Anatomist at Florence University, and hence ever devoted to the progress and diffusion of science in the fields of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology.
