Molecular Biology covers a wide scope of problems related to molecular and cell biology including structural and functional genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, biomedicine, molecular enzymology, molecular virology and molecular immunology, theoretical bases of biotechnology, physics and physical chemistry of proteins and nucleic acids. Unlike the majority of journals dealing with these subjects, Molecular Biology exercises a multidisciplinary approach and presents the complete pattern of relevant basic research mostly in Eastern Europe. Molecular Biology publishes general interest reviews, mini-reviews, experimental and theoretical works and computational analyses in molecular and cell biology.

Molecular Genetics, Microbiology and Virology addresses theoretical and applied topics in molecular genetics of pro- and eukaryotes, molecular microbiology and molecular virology. The journal focuses on studies of the genetic apparatus of microorganisms, the search for genetic forms of metabolism, genetic mapping of pathogenic causative agents, investigations of the structure and functions of extrachromosomal factors of heredity and migratory genetic elements, and theoretical studies on the mechanisms of genetic regulation. Topics include the molecular and genetic elements of eukaryotic cells, the function of chromosomes and chromatin, the nature of genetic changes in malignant degeneration, hereditary diseases. Also covered are the molecular bases of virology, including viral and cellular genomes integration and viral persistence. The journal's scope of coverage includes the biotechnological production of hormones, components of antiviral vaccines, and diagnostic and therapeutic preparations.

Mycotoxin Research, the official publication of the Society for Mycotoxin Research, is a peer-reviewed, scientific journal dealing with all aspects related to toxic fungal metabolites. The journal publishes original research articles and reviews in all areas dealing with mycotoxins. As an interdisciplinary platform, Mycotoxin Research welcomes submission of scientific contributions in the following research fields:

Natural Resources Research (NRR) is one of three journals sponsored by the International Association for Mathematical Geology (IAMG) and is co-sponsored by the Energy Mineral Division of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG/EMD). NRR publishes quantitative geoscientific studies reporting on the search for and development of natural resources, including their associated environmental, economical, and risk-related aspects. Reports regarding petroleum or energy-mineral resources are of interest, as are investigations on the exploitation of any metallic or non-metallic resource. Example studies include the use of geoscientific data or analyses to assess measurement or sampling methods compare exploitation strategies evaluate policies regarding site development, use, and remediation identify important factors for economic and/or technical success test statistical or deterministic models for the exploration, assessment, and/or development of resources containing coal clean coal, decarbonized energy, and hydrogen conventional oil and gas under any recovery process copper uranium geothermal gypsum precious stones unconventional oil or gas, including gas hydrates, heavy oil, coalbed methane, and oil shale vegetation water carbon dioxide production or sequestration Case studies are particularly welcome.
