Financial Management serves both academics and practitioners who are concerned with the financial management of nonfinancial businesses, financial institutions, and public and private not-for-profit organizations. Financial Management's editorial policy is that the journal serves the profession by publishing significant new scholarly research in finance that is of the highest quality.

Fire and Materials is an international journal for scientific and technological communications directed at the fire properties of materials and the products into which they are made. This covers all aspects of the polymer field and the end uses where polymers find application; the important developments in the fields of natural products - wood and cellulosics; non-polymeric materials - metals and ceramics; as well as the chemistry and industrial applications of fire retardant chemicals. Contributions will be particularly welcomed on heat release; properties of combustion products - smoke opacity, toxicity and corrosivity; modelling and testing.

Since its inception in 1979, Fiscal Studies has earned a reputation around the world for publishing high-quality, original research papers in a style understandable to a wide audience. Written by leading experts in public economics and fiscal policy worldwide, articles are presented in a clear and accessible format which will appeal to a broad international readership of policy makers, public finance practitioners and academic researchers.

Fish and Fisheries adopts a broad, interdisciplinary approach to the subject of fish biology and fisheries. It draws contributions in the form of major synoptic papers and syntheses or meta-analyses that lay out new approaches, re-examine existing findings, methods or theory, and discuss papers and commentaries from diverse areas. Focal areas include fish palaeontology, molecular biology and ecology, genetics, biochemistry, physiology, ecology, behaviour, evolutionary studies, conservation, assessment, population dynamics, mathematical modelling, ecosystem analysis and the social, economic and policy aspects of fisheries where they are grounded in a scientific approach. A paper in Fish and Fisheries must draw upon all key elements of the existing literature on a topic, normally have a broad geographic and/or taxonomic scope, and provide general points which make it compelling to a wide range of readers whatever their geographical location. So, in short, we aim to publish articles that make syntheses of old or synoptic, long-term or spatially widespread data, introduce or consolidate fresh concepts or theory, or, in the Ghoti section, briefly justify preliminary, new synoptic ideas. Please note that authors of submissions not meeting this mandate will be directed to the appropriate primary literature.

Fisheries Management and Ecology is a journal with an international perspective. It presents papers that cover all aspects of the management, ecology and conservation of inland, estuarine and coastal fisheries.

Flavour and Fragrance Journal publishes original research articles, reviews and special reports on all aspects of flavour and fragrance. Its high scientific standard and international character will be ensured by regional editorial support and a strict refereeing system. As well as essential oils and other natural and naturally derived products, complementary synthetic products will be included, where appropriate. There are many associated topics of interest, often requiring the use of interdisciplinary techniques. In addition to discussion of their end uses, coverage will include such important integral areas as biomedical sciences and legislation. The overall aim is to produce a journal of the highest quality which provides a forum for the exchange of a wide variety of information on all aspects of flavours, fragrances and related materials, and which is valued by readers and contributors alike.
